What is a Noun?
A noun is the name of a person, place, animal, thing, or idea.
Examples
- Person: teacher, doctor, Riya
- Place: school, Delhi, park
- Animal: dog, lion, elephant
- Thing: book, pencil, chair
- Idea: honesty, love, happiness
Remember: A noun tells us who or what we are talking about.

How to Find a Noun
Ask these questions:
